Dry Needling
A targeted technique used to address persistent muscular pain and myofascial trigger points.
Dry needling involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific areas of muscular tension to stimulate a neuromuscular response. It is commonly used as part of a broader treatment plan for clients experiencing chronic tightness or pain that has not fully responded to manual therapy alone.
When inserted into a trigger point, the needle may elicit a brief twitch response — a normal reflex within the muscle. This response can assist in reducing localised tension and improving mobility.
Dry needling is typically integrated with remedial massage and movement-based techniques to support functional improvement and pain reduction.
Needles may remain in place for a short period depending on your presentation and treatment goals.
Dry Needling may assist with:
- A limited range of motion
- Deep fascia tightness
- Restricted joint movement

- Improved circulation
- Reducing local and referred pain
Fine, sterile stainless-steel needles are inserted at targeted points to restore the natural flow energy. Often deeply relaxing, treatments leave you feeling more grounded.
Post session it’s normal to feel:
- A mild twitch sensation
- Dull ache or heaviness
- Temporary localised soreness
