Myofascial Cupping

A controlled decompression technique used to address soft tissue restriction and persistent muscular tension.
Myofascial cupping applies gentle negative pressure to the skin and underlying tissue, lifting rather than compressing the structures beneath. This approach can assist in improving tissue mobility and reducing localised restriction.

Used purposefully, not routinely.

Cupping is integrated where appropriate within a treatment plan and may be combined with manual therapy and movement-based techniques to support recovery and mobility.

It is commonly applied to areas of chronic tightness, postural restriction and training-related tension.

Temporary circular marks may appear following treatment and typically resolve within several days.

Commonly Addressed Concerns:

  • Persistent muscular tightness
  • Back and hip restriction
